Experimental Melbourne noise collective, Y35.3, have an err, interesting story behind their name.
Y35.3 is a classification given to a death of a civilian by blunt force trauma. Hmmm...
To create these patterns, a print out of Y35.3 in Times Roman Bold was photographed through a common plastic diffusion lens found in a house sky light. These broken-up forms were then used in die cuts in further photography.
